APIs and application operating environments (AOEs) are stable within a major version. APIs and AOEs can be deprecated within a major version; however, they will not be removed until a subsequent major version.
After an API or AOE is deprecated, the API or AOE will be available for a minimum of one year or until the next major version is released, whichever is longer.
